Experience
I have been active in tutoring others ever since I graduated from high school. I have been involved in my state's AVID program, where I assisted in preparing middle and high school students for their college education. In AVID, there was a focus on test prep for both the ACT and SAT, as well as essay writing and critical thinking skills. I am available to work with students in Algebra 1, Geometry, Elementary and Middle School Math, Essay Editing, Literature, College Essays, American History, European History, Arithmetic, Geography, Social Studies, English, Math, Political Science, U.S. History, and World History. I tutor the AP subjects Government and Politics, United States History, and Human Geography. I also assist with test prep, including SAT Math, Verbal, Writing, and Critical Reading; ACT Science, Reading, Math, and English; and STARR.I am currently a student at the University of Texas, where I am earning my bachelor's degree in Political Science. When I have free time, I enjoy learning about politics and current events around the world, playing board games, reading about history, and doing outdoor activities, such as hunting and working with firearms.
